Christmas Blessings

This past Sunday’s worship service was just a glimpse of what God has in store for our future. Through your heart of sacrifice and charity, we were able to minister to over 50 Burmese and Hmong refugees living in the Denver area. Praise God for everyone who participated to make this event possible. My hope for the sermon was to communicate the gospel message clearly through the medium of Christmas. I believe that God has a special and unique purpose for LCC in Denver. As the only independent, second-generation, English-speaking Asian American church in Denver, we are called to be disciples and to make disciples in our spheres of influence. As a church, we have much to celebrate and thank God for in 2009 and we anticipate great things in 2010 as we serve God in this great city of Denver. As you spend time with loved ones this Christmas, please remember that Christmas is not about what I want but who I need. Remember the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf. God bless you.
